My photo
Hi! My name is Erica and I am a photographer from Boston who loves taking pictures of weddings, kids, families, you name it. This blog is a great place to keep up on what I have been up to, from my latest shoots, to my random adventures. I want to thank all the people that support my dreams and help them come true. Thank you to all of the couples who have included me in their special day. I have been so lucky to have the coolest clients on the planet, and couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you so much for visiting!

    Free To Succeed!

I have never been that screaming 12 year-old at a concert for the Backstreet Boys who jumps up and down and not able to contain my excitement. I usually just find them humorous and laugh, but man were my friends laughing at me last night as I had the opportunity to meet my three photography idols at one time, in one room, all at once. David Jay, Jasmine Star and Becker came to Boston last night for the Free to Succeed Tour and the night couldn't have gone better.

I met up with a bunch of extremely fun and talented photographers beforehand and for once, I could talk shop for an entire night with people who understood me and shared my insane passion for this industry. For once, my boyfriend didn't have to listen to me go on and on and on about whether to shoot raw or jpeg, or discuss the age old battle of canon vs. nikon. I was feeling really great. And then.....we went upstairs to get into the tour. I walked in and Lisa couldn't stop laughing as my face went from my pale self to SUPER LOBSTER RED. I met Jasmine Star and was just as cool a person as I built her up to be. My night continued as David Jay spoke about saving time in my workflow, and Jasmine taught me the value of branding my business, and finally Becker stood up in front of the 100 or so people in attendance to show us a sneak peek of the very cool [B] School. I implore any photographer reading this that still has the chance to hear them speak, it is absolutely worth every penny. I learned so much and the information is going to stick with me for a long time.

I want to give a shout out to everyone I met last night. It was so great meeting all of you and I really hope to stay in touch.
