"Mysteries lie all around us, even in the most familiar things, waiting to be perceived" -Bullock

My photo
Hi! My name is Erica and I am a photographer from Boston who loves taking pictures of weddings, kids, families, you name it. This blog is a great place to keep up on what I have been up to, from my latest shoots, to my random adventures. I want to thank all the people that support my dreams and help them come true. Thank you to all of the couples who have included me in their special day. I have been so lucky to have the coolest clients on the planet, and couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you so much for visiting!

    sneak peek: amy & pete

I was going through the images from my day with Amy and Pete, and no lie, almost every single shot made me smile. I had so much fun with them and their awesome personalities really showed up on camera. I got home and was looking through the pictures, and while I sometimes call my boyfriend over to the computer to look at a shot or two, the poor boy had to keep getting up as I would yell, "ooooh, you have to come look at this one", "wait, come back, aww, look at THIS one!" Here is one of my favorites, but check back soon for more.

    Ever After: Stacie and Brian

One of the sweetest couples I have ever met. Ever. I first met Stacie and Brian at their house in Chelmsford to go over the details and initial questions, but after 5 minutes Stacie was showing me around their new house and we were playing with their awesome dogs, Casey and Crash.
Their wedding was perfect. Beautiful dress, weather, horse and carriage, etc. I will let you see for yourself. Here is the ALBUM I made for them.
Stacie and Brian, Thank you so much for letting me photograph your wedding day. I am so glad that I could be a part of it. Enjoy the pictures and we will talk soon :)

Here is just one of the many small details that show this couple's love for each other. Here are a few little snipets of the letters they gave one another.

A quiet moment before the walk down the aisle.
Absolutely my favorite church I ever photographed by far. Just look at the light!

    photo of the month

Okay, so I swear, I don't just take pictures of weddings and happy people all the time (although I would if you gave me the option.) Here is a little fun I had with my friend Blake's bike and photoshop. Blake has gone to Costa Rica for a month to help build houses for people that really need them. He's is a little crazy about motorcycles, as he has owned a few of them just this summer so what's a good-bye party without Erica toilet papering his prized possession?!? This picture was taken moments before the tp:

I'm not going to lie, I battled on choosing which pictures to post as a teaser to Stacie and Brian's wedding, because I am LOVING so many of them. Stay tuned!

    Ever After: Karina & Glenn

Karina started walking down the aisle and Glenn could not take his eyes off of her, and neither could anyone else. She looked amazing. From that point on, the entire night was spent with family and friends talking, laughing, eating, and definitely dancing. The music was unbelievable as half of the wedding guests, including the bride, were from Mexico, and played music that really made people dance....and wow, did they dance. Karina was spun around the dance floor by her brother and I was so jealous of their moves! Karina and Glenn, thank you so much for including us in your special day. I wish you guys a lifetime of dancing.

Here is the ALBUM I made for them.

**Below are a few of my favorites of the day. It is a mixture of shots between myself and my talented assistant, Lisa Smith.
