"Mysteries lie all around us, even in the most familiar things, waiting to be perceived" -Bullock

My photo
Hi! My name is Erica and I am a photographer from Boston who loves taking pictures of weddings, kids, families, you name it. This blog is a great place to keep up on what I have been up to, from my latest shoots, to my random adventures. I want to thank all the people that support my dreams and help them come true. Thank you to all of the couples who have included me in their special day. I have been so lucky to have the coolest clients on the planet, and couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you so much for visiting!

    Brendan's Baptism

Loud. Funny. Family. My family sat in the church waiting for my cousin's baptism to start, and not even being in a church can keep us quiet. Little Brendan was baptized last Sunday and he has no idea what he is in store for. Christmas Eve's full of pasta and really bad presents that we only buy to laugh over, ski trips with 5 to a room, and people that would do absolutely anything for him. It is going to be so great watching him grow up.

Rachel is seriously adorable photos taken by my cousin Lisa Smith

    THANK YOU!

The 2008 Boston Multiple Myeloma Race was a huge success and everyone reading this blog is to thank. I want to thank you for donating to the mmrf, showing up for the run, and being a great friend. It has been a year since my dad passed from this type of Cancer and I couldn't have made it through without all of you. Hopefully we will find a cure soon!

    Happy Mother's Day

I caught my mom before she went out with the girls last night, and wow did she look great. She has had one tough year, and no matter what life threw at her, she took it in stride and gave sincere meaning to the phrase, "when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade."

    Nikon D3!!!

I am sorry about not blogging much lately, and you can see why. For the past year or two, I have been shooting with the Nikon D70s, and now I have his big brother, the nikon d3. It is the most insane camera I have ever picked up and I cannot WAIT to use it at Mike and Michelle's wedding next week!

    Happy Birthday Noah!

Okay, so I know I have said it before, but what I wouldn't give to be a 5-year-old right now. Noah had his birthday party this year at Jump On In, a huge gymnasium full of moonwalks and moonslides (okay, so maybe its not that I want to be young as much as it is an obsession with moonwalks.) I knew I would like Noah when his mom, Katherine, told me about his love of the Red Sox and that he would get up at 5 a.m. just to see them play in Japan. It was no suprise that the cake was almost an exact replica of fenway!

Happy birthday Noah. I can't wait to see how you are going to top this year!

Here is the ALBUM of the party. Thank you for looking!!

    Puppy is ready for Summer!

So after a rainy Sunday of sleeping on my lap while I work on an album, Tucker had enough and decided it was time to go have a little fun, so he literally pulled on my pant leg until I followed him outside. There are very few people that can pull me away from an album until it is finished, Tucker is pretty much the only one that it will work for everytime. Then again, how does anyone say no to this face?
